UA interfaces can be used without a host computer. This operating state is known as Standalone mode.
In Standalone mode, UA interfaces can pass signal from any analog input to the Monitor and Headphone outputs.
Standalone mode can be useful when a host computer is not available, or to gain insight towards the root cause of an issue.
