Launching UAD Console Results in the “Unable to Launch UA Mixer Engine” Error

This article refers to the Unable to Launch UA Mixer Engine error message that can be prompted when UAD Console is launched.

This error occurs when the UAD Software and associated drivers are not installed, resulting in the error message. To solve this issue, follow the steps below:

1. Launch UA Connect.
2. Navigate to the Apollo & UAD-2 tab.
3. Install the UAD Software by clicking the DOWNLOAD button:
   
4. Once installed, make sure that the UAD Software is installed correctly by launching the UAD Meter & Control Panel application.

Important Note: UAD Console Is designed to work exclusively with Universal Audio Apollo interfaces – it cannot function with Volt or third-party audio interfaces. 

Additional Notes

Make sure Apollo is connected to the computer and powered ON before starting the UAD software installation process.

Check the host system for active System Cleaner tools.
