We’ve recognized an issue in the latest versions of UAD software that affects all Apollo Twin MkII users. When running UAD v9.10.0 or v9.10.1, changing the sample rate on an Apollo Twin MkII causes a short noise burst from the Line 3-4 outputs.
This burst happens regardless of the ALT Monitoring setting, and unfortunately cannot be muted. Note that this issue does not affect any other outputs on Apollo Twin MkII and does not affect any other Apollo or Arrow models (including 1st-gen Apollo Twin and Apollo Twin USB interfaces).
If you use an Apollo Twin MkII and are running the latest version of UAD software, this issue is resolved by downloading and installing a firmware update below for your particular model.
Important Note: This firmware update is only required if using UAD v9.10.0 or v9.10.1. If you’re using UAD v9.9 or earlier, you are not affected by this issue and no firmware update is required.
