"New Thunderbolt devices" message when first connecting UAD Thunderbolt hardware to Windows

When connecting a UAD Thunderbolt device to your Windows PC for the first time, you will see a "New Thunderbolt devices have been attached" message appear in the bottom right corner of your screen. When this message appears, click "OK" to allow the UAD Thunderbolt device to connect to your computer.

An "Approve Thunderbolt Devices" window will appear that lists the UAD Thunderbolt device being connected to the computer. Select "Always Connect" from the drop down menu to avoid having to repeat this step each time the UAD Thunderbolt device is connected.

If connecting an Apollo with a Thunderbolt 1 Option Card installed, or a UAD-2 PCIe card in a Thunderbolt 1 chassis, you will receive a warning message that the device may not work properly. Click "Yes" to dismiss this message. Although Thunderbolt 1 devices are not officially certified for Windows 10, this will not have any affect on performance or stability of UAD devices that use a Thunderbolt 1 connection.
