What are the details and limitations?
Offer valid only for customers who purchase any eligible Volt USB audio interface product from an authorized UA retailer between September 6th, 2022 and April 30th, 2023. Customers must register their Volt hardware before May 15th, 2023 to receive free plug-ins. All promotional fulfillment is subject to approval by Universal Audio.

Do I need any additional hardware to use these plug-ins?
No - the included plug-ins will run natively as UADx plug-ins, or as UAD Powered Plug-Ins with an Apollo audio interface or UAD-2 DSP Accelerator.
I just ordered my Volt online but it hasn’t arrived yet. When do I need to register it by to get the promotion?
You must purchase your Volt interface between September 6th, 2022 and April 30th, 2023, and then you must register the device on or before May 15th, 2023 to receive your free plug-ins.
I just bought a used Volt. Can I get the promotion?
No, the promotion is only applicable to purchases of new qualifying Volt audio interfaces purchased from an authorized UA retailer. A list of authorized dealers near you can be found here.
Do I need internet access to register my Volt?
Yes, you will need to connect your Volt interface to an online computer in order to register the unit via UA Connect and be eligible for the promotion. Customer Service cannot manually register any Volt devices.
What are the system requirements for UADx plug-ins?
UADx plug-ins require an Intel or Apple silicon based Mac running macOS 10.15 Catalina or newer; Windows systems require an Intel or AMD based PC running Windows 10 (64-bit edition) or Windows 11.
How do I redeem my free UADx plug-ins?
After your Volt has been registered to your uaudio.com account, go to the Volt Software panel in UA Connect and click the GET STARTED button next to “Get your free UADx plug-ins”.
If you do not already have an iLok account linked to your UA Account then you will be prompted to link one. If you do not have an existing iLok account, UA Connect can create one for you.
If you let UA Connect create an iLok account for you, you will be asked for some additional information. Provide the requested information and click CONTINUE.
Now you can activate and install your UADx plug-ins from the UAD Spark Plug-ins panel in UA Connect by clicking on the ACTIVATE LICENSE button.
