Plug-Ins & Presets Browser

The Plug-Ins & Presets browser view provides drag and drop access and right-click Assign functionality to your UAD plug-ins and channel strip presets in UAD Console.

To show or hide the Plug-Ins & Presets browser, toggle the Browser switch under the Show section at the bottom of the Mixer Navigation panel, or choose Show > Section > Browser from the UAD Console menus. The Plug-Ins & Presets browser is shown when the switch is illuminated or the menu option is checked.

Plug-Ins

The Plug-Ins tab shows all plug-ins, and allows you to quickly search by text or category. You can quickly switch to Assign mode to assign a plug-in to tracks, or drag a plug-in to a specific insert slot.

  • To search for a plug-in by name, click in the search bar and begin typing.

  • To add or remove categories from the search, click a category.
  • Use the up and down arrow keys to navigate the list of plug-ins.

Dragging plug-ins

You can drag a plug-in from the Plug-Ins browser to a specific insert slot. Drag the plug-in to the slot in the channel. Note that if you drag the plug-in to a slot that is already occupied, the plug-in replaces the current plug-in in that slot. You cannot drag a non-Unison plug-in to a Unison slot.
