General Requirements
- Compatible Apollo rack interfaces:
Apollo 8, Apollo 8p, Apollo 16 mkII, Apollo x6, Apollo x8, Apollo x8p, Apollo x16.
Note: The silver Apollo Firewire (DUO and QUAD), and the silver Apollo 16 can also be upgraded with this Thunderbolt 3 option card, but it is important not to chain non-UA Thunderbolt peripherals which require Thunderbolt power delivery to the option card when installed in these models. - Thunderbolt 3 or 4 cable (not included).
- Internet connection to download software and authorize UAD plug-ins.
- 25 gigabytes available storage.
Note: We highly recommend having at least 100 GB of free storage on your internal hard drive.
macOS
- Available Thunderbolt 1, 2, 3, or 4 port.
- macOS Big Sur 11, Monterey 12, Ventura 13, Sonoma 14, Sequoia 15 and Tahoe 26
- Thunderbolt 1 and 2 connections require an Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter (not included).
Windows
- Available Thunderbolt 3 or 4 port.
Windows 10 64-bit edition or Windows 11
Note: UAD Software v11.8.3 and newer requires Windows 10 April 2018 Update (v1803) and newer. We recommend using the latest available version of Windows 10 for optimal performance.
