If you own or purchase a UAD DSP plug-in or instrument that has been ported to native, you may be eligible for a free license for the UAD Native version.
Note: Not all natively ported plug-ins are eligible, and some exceptions may apply. For a complete list of plug-ins available on the native platform, read this article.
Using the UAD Native plug-in version of a UAD DSP plug-in
To authorize and install the UAD Native version of a UAD DSP plug-in, follow the steps below:
- Download and install UA Connect.
- Log in to your account – make sure you are using the account the UAD DSP plug-ins are registered to.
- Allow UA Connect to create a new iLok account if you don't already have one, or link your existing iLok account if you do.
- If a license has not yet been authorized, you may have to redeem your UAD Native plug-ins in UA Connect.
- Once a license is authorized, you will be able to download and install your UAD Native plug-in.

Additional Notes
- A UAD Spark subscription is not required to use these perpetual UAD licenses.
- Native UAD licenses require PACE iLok License Manager, which is installed automatically by UA Connect.
- UAD-1 titles are not eligible.
- Legacy versions of UAD plug-ins, including those that are included in the freeAnalog Classics bundles delivered with new UAD hardware do not qualify. To upgrade from a legacy version to a qualifying title, click here.
