Since UAD Spark Studio provides you with UAD Native plug-ins that can run directly on your computer’s CPU without requiring any UA hardware, you may run as many plug-in instances as your CPU can handle.
Are UAD DSP plug-ins included with a UAD Spark Studio subscription?
No, only UAD Native plug-ins are included with a UAD Spark Studio subscription.
Can I use the plug-ins included in UAD Spark Studio in UAD Console?
No, UAD Console requires UAD DSP plug-ins that run directly on Apollo interfaces, and only UAD Native plug-ins are included with a UAD Spark Studio subscription.

Can I record with UAD Spark Studio plug-ins in LUNA?
Yes, however, as with all native plugins in LUNA, they are bypassed when Accelerated Realtime Monitoring is active. To monitor through UAD Native plug-ins, you will need to disable ARM mode. This means that UAD Spark Studio plug-ins do not support realtime processing like UAD DSP plug-ins do.
What are the general compatibility specifications and system requirements for the plug-ins included in UAD Spark Studio?

I don’t have an iLok account. Do I need to set one up before trying UAD Spark Studio?
No, when you get started with UAD Spark Studio, you will be presented with the option to have an iLok account automatically created for you or to link an existing iLok account to your UA account.
How do I manage my UAD Spark Studio licenses?

How many computers can I run my UAD Spark Studio subscription plug-ins on?
UAD Spark Studio allows for a maximum of two concurrent activations per subscription. You can either activate your subscription license to an iLok Cloud session or a physical iLok USB key.
Please note that an iLok Cloud session can only be open on one computer at a time. To use your UAD Spark Studio plug-ins on two computers at once, you will need to have one activation on an iLok Cloud session and the other on an iLok USB key or on two separate iLok USB keys.
Can I have more than one UAD Spark Studio subscription for my account?
We currently only support one UAD Spark Studio subscription per account.
Can I get a second trial period for UAD Spark Studio?
If you have previously trialed UAD Spark Studio, it is not possible to receive a second trial, even with a different email address or iLok account.
If I choose a monthly subscription plan, can I switch it to an annual plan later?
