How many plug-in instances can I run in my project?
Since UAD Spark provides you with UAD Native plug-ins that can run directly on your computer’s CPU without requiring any UA hardware, you may run as many plug-in instances as your CPU can handle.
Are UAD DSP plug-ins included with a UAD Spark subscription?
No, only UAD Native plug-ins are included with a UAD Spark subscription.
Can I use the plug-ins included in UAD Spark in UAD Console?
No, UAD Console requires UAD DSP plug-ins that run directly on Apollo interfaces, and only UAD Native plug-ins are included with a UAD Spark subscription.

Can I record with UAD Spark plug-ins in LUNA?
Yes, however, as with all native plugins in LUNA, they are bypassed when Accelerated Realtime Monitoring is active. To monitor through UAD Native plug-ins, you will need to disable ARM mode. This means that UAD Spark plug-ins do not support realtime processing like UAD DSP plug-ins do.
What are the general compatibility specifications and system requirements for the plug-ins included in UAD Spark?

I don’t have an iLok account. Do I need to set one up before trying UAD Spark?
No, when you get started with UAD Spark, you will be presented with the option to have an iLok account automatically created for you or to link an existing iLok account to your UA account.
How do I manage my UAD Spark licenses?
UAD Spark plug-ins are managed using UA Connect and authorized with iLok. For instructions on how to manage UAD Native plug-in licenses, read this article.
How many computers can I run my UAD Spark subscription plug-ins on?
UAD Spark allows for a maximum of two concurrent activations per subscription. You can either activate your subscription license to an iLok Cloud session or a physical iLok USB key.
Please note that an iLok Cloud session can only be open on one computer at a time. To use your UAD Spark plug-ins on two computers at once, you will need to have one activation on an iLok Cloud session and the other on an iLok USB key or on two separate iLok USB keys.
Can I have more than one UAD Spark subscription for my account?
We currently only support one UAD Spark subscription per account.
Can I get a second trial period for UAD Spark?
If you have previously trialed UAD Spark, it is not possible to receive a second trial, even with a different email address or iLok account.
If I choose a monthly subscription plan, can I switch it to an annual plan later?

Can I transfer my UAD Spark subscription to another user or account?
No, if you need your subscription to be on another account, you will need to cancel your subscription and sign up with the new account.
Is there any discount on UAD Spark if I already own some of the plug-ins included?
No, you will not get a discount on UAD Spark if you already own licenses for plug-ins that are included in UAD Spark.
