Do the UAD Native and UAD DSP version of ATR-102 sound the same?
Yes, the native version and UAD DSP version essentially sound the same when using the auto-calibrated settings and default noise levels with each plug-in, and both plug-ins feature the same tape formulations, head width and calibration level and EQ settings for general mixing and mastering purposes.
The exception is only when using custom analog noise levels (custom crosstalk, wow & flutter, hiss & hum levels) or tape delay of the UAD DSP version.
What are the differences between the native version of ATR-102 and the UAD DSP version?
