On April 8, 2025, Universal Audio is making some important changes that will require you to update UA Connect to ensure you continue to have access to your software. You'll need to update if you are experiencing any issues using UA Connect, activating your products in UA Connect, or using your software in your DAW.
To make sure you get continued service, follow the steps below:
- First, check which version UA Connect is running. To do so, click the icon in the upper right corner of the window to open the dropdown menu which will show the account you're logged into and the version of UA Connect that is currently running. If you are running version 1.4.22 or below, you will need to update.
Note: If you are unable to run UA Connect, it is likely that you are running an older version. Therefore, continue with the steps below. - Navigate to this page and download the latest version of UA Connect.
- Once downloaded, install the newest version of UA Connect.
- Log into your account to confirm you have access to your products.
What happens if I don't update by April 8, 2025?
You may experience issues linking your UA account with your iLok account on file, installing your available products, authorizing your licenses and using your software in your preferred supported DAW.
