How do I access MIDI Learn with my UAD plug-ins?

Is MIDI Learn available for all UAD plug-ins?
As of version 11.8.1 of the UAD Software, MIDI Learn is now available for all UAD Native plug-ins and UAD DSP plug-ins.
Is MIDI Learn available in LUNA?
MIDI Learn for plug-ins is not currently available for LUNA. If you would like to see this feature added to LUNA, please leave us some feedback.

Why isn’t MIDI Learn available for audio effects in Logic Pro?
Due to Logic Pro's technical limitations, only UAD Instruments and MIDI-controlled FX are able to use MIDI Learn in Logic Pro.
Does Universal Audio recommend any specific MIDI controllers?
No, we do not recommend any specific MIDI controllers for this feature. All general MIDI controllers that send CC data will work.
Can I use the copy and paste feature to copy a MIDI map from one plug-in instance to another? Or map MIDI to multiple instances of a plug-in at the same time?
No, but you can duplicate the plug-in instance in your DAW, and the MIDI mapping will be included. You can also save your MIDI map and load it into another plug-in instance.
I saved a MIDI mapping for a UAD Native plug-in. Can I use it with its UAD DSP counterpart?
Indeed – if you've previously made a MIDI mapping for a UAD Native plug-in, you will be able to load the same MIDI mapping with the plug-in's UAD DSP counterpart. You can also load a MIDI mapping saved with a DSP plug-in on its native counterpart.
I saved a MIDI mapping I want to automatically load as a default every time I load an instance of a UAD plug-in in my DAW. How can I do this?
It is currently not possible to set a specific MIDI mapping as a default template when loading a UAD plug-in – all MIDI mappings must be manually loaded in UAD plug-ins.
However, we recommend our users share their feedback via the Submit Feedback button available via the ••• menu in the top-right corner of UAD plug-ins.
