Important Note
macOS Catalina 10.15 is no longer tested or supported. Universal Audio strongly recommends updating to a supported version of macOS (macOS Big Sur 11 or newer).
UA Connect 1.6.3 and newer are incompatible with macOS Catalina 10.15.
If you are unable to update to a newer version of macOS, you will need to use UA Connect 1.6.2 to do any of the following:
- Download, install, launch, and use UAD Console
- Register and manage Volt interfaces
- Register and manage Standard Mics
- Register and manage UAFX pedals
- Launch and use LUNA
- Launch and use UAD Native plug-ins (UADx) and UAD Spark

I am on macOS Catalina 10.15. Can I download a compatible version of UAD Console?
Yes, however, macOS Catalina 10.15 is no longer tested or supported. The current updates of UAD Console and UAD software are incompatible with macOS Catalina 10.15. The last compatible versions are UAD Console v1.2.1 and UAD Software v11.5.2.
Download older versions for macOS Catalina 10.15:
- Download and install UA Connect 1.6.2.
- Download UAD software v11.5.2.
- Run the installer for v11.5.2 and follow the instructions in this article.
- Click the following link to launch UA Connect and automatically start the download and installation of UAD Console v.1.2.1.
Note: You must keep UA Connect 1.6.2 installed and running in the background to run UAD Console.
