This article demonstrates how to install and authorize the Brainworx plug-in licenses included with your purchase of a Volt interface.
- Install UA Connect and register your Volt interface, if you have not already done so. More information on this topic is available in this article.
- Click the Volt Interfaces tab.
- Click Redeem next to the Brainworx plug-in entry (e.g. Ampeg® SVT-VR Classic Bass Bundle)
- Click the Claim Your Code button. The code is automatically copied to the clipboard.
- Click the Continue button to access the Plugin Alliance website.
- Log into your Brainworx account, or sign up to create a new account if you don't have one.
- Then, scroll down to the OEM Bundles category and click Add to Cart in the Universal Audio Bundle box.
- Click the Checkout button once you are ready to complete the registration. The previously-copied code from UA Connect will act as a voucher code, discounting the plug-in purchase to $0 during Checkout.
- After placing the order to register the license to your account, click the Installation menu entry on the website at the top and download the Plugin Alliance Installation Manager for your operating system.
- On macOS, navigate to your Downloads folder and double-click the DMG installer. Drag the PA Installation Manager app into your Applications folder.
On Windows, right-click the zipped file that was downloaded and select Extract All, then double-click the installer inside the folder that was extracted. - Run the Installation Manager and follow the on-screen steps. Log in to your Plugin Alliance account. You can now download and install the plug-ins you’ve authorized to your account, including the bundled software associated with your Volt interface.
Note: The Ampeg SVT-VR Classic plug-in will show in the Ampeg manufacturer category. - Open your DAW and load the plug-in(s) you activated onto a track. You will be prompted to activate your licenses when running them for the first time.
- Click the Click to activate and I’m Online buttons to log into your Plugin Alliance account and finally authorize your licenses.
