This article demonstrates how to install and authorize the UJAM plug-in licenses included with your purchase of a Volt interface.
- Install UA Connect and register your Volt interface, if you have not already done so. More information on this topic is available in this article.
- Click the Volt Interfaces tab.
- Click Redeem next to the UJAM plug-ins, such as Virtual Drummer DEEP.
- Click the Claim Your Code button. The code is automatically copied to the clipboard.
- Click the Continue button to access the UJAM website. Paste the code into the first field.
- Repeat step 3-4 for the other plug-in licenses, such as Virtual Bassist DANDY.
- Go back to the already opened UJAM web page and click the Add another license button to create a new field. Then, paste the license code into the newly-created second field.
- Click the Check License button, then click Continue.
- Create a UJAM account, or log into your already existing account if you have one.
- Download the installer for both plug-ins.
- On macOS, navigate to your Downloads folder and double-click the downloaded zipped file, then double-click the extracted downloader file.
On Windows, double-click on the downloader executable file to install the plug-ins in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins. - Open your DAW and load the plug-in(s) you activated onto a track. You will be prompted to activate your licenses when running them for the first time.
- Log into your UJAM account when prompted, then click Activate License. This step must be repeated for each plug-in that you’ve installed.
