On macOS, UAD FireWire products are incompatible with macOS Big Sur and later, regardless of the UAD Software version.**

* UAD Software 11.5.2 is incompatible with Pro Tools on Windows, UAD Software v11.0.1 should be used instead, which is available in the UAD Software Archives.
**The Apple Thunderbolt to FireWire adapter will only function with an OS version that supports FireWire. On macOS, that is macOS Catalina or earlier.
If a Silver FireWire Apollo (DIUO or QUAD) has a Thunderbolt option card installed, and has been connected by Thunderbolt previously, it will have Thunderbolt firmware installed. To re-load FireWire firmware to use the FireWire ports, the Apollo would need to be connected to a Thunderbolt computer running UAD Software 11.5.2 or earlier. From the UAD Meter application, you can then select 'Revert To FireWire', which will roll back the Apollo to FireWire firmware. Here are detailed instructions.
