A factory reset allows a Volt 876 to start with factory default settings. This can be useful when setting up a Volt 876 in new environments or when troubleshooting an issue.
It is advised to disconnect or power off output devices like headphones or monitors before the reset.
Notes: The factory reset does not affect a Volt 876’s firmware version or registration status.
To reset your Volt 876 to factory defaults:
- Power off the Volt 876 hardware.
- Press and hold the INST 1/2 and Polarity buttons and power the Volt 876.
- Continue holding the INST 1/2 and Polarity buttons until the Channel Select button LEDs flash four times, then release.
The Volt 876 will then restart in the factory default configuration.
