This article provides the steps to uninstall UAD Native plug-ins on macOS and Windows, automatically via UA Connect and manually. Click the tab to reveal the steps relevant to your operating system.
macOS
If you wish to remove all UAD Native plug-ins from your system, follow the steps below:
- Open UA Connect.
- Navigate to the UAD Plug-Ins tab.
- Next to the plug-in you want to uninstall, click the ••• icon and select Uninstall.
Alternatively, you can also manually delete them by following the steps below:
- Quit all music-related software, including UA Connect and your DAW.
- Navigate to the following the following locations:
- Plugin Component Files
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Universal Audio/Plug-Ins - AAX
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins - AU
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components - VST3
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3
- Plugin Component Files
- Delete the files named after the plug-in(s) you want to uninstall.
- Empty your trash bin and reboot your computer.
Windows
If you wish to remove all UAD Native plug-ins from your system, follow the steps below:
- Open UA Connect.
- Navigate to the UAD Plug-Ins tab.
- Next to the plug-in you want to uninstall, click the ••• icon and select Uninstall.
