Prerequisites to Transcribe Lyrics
- Lyric transcription requires a LUNA Studio license.
- To transcribe lyrics, your track must be detected or set as a Vocal track. If Instrument Detection is enabled, this typically happens automatically. If the track is not designated as a Vocal track, you can manually set the track type in the timeline track header.
- Lyric transcription works best when vocal clips do not overlap. Consolidate clips on the vocal track for the most accuracy.
- Lyrics are transcribed in the cloud, so your computer must be connected to the internet.
Transcribing Lyrics
- Right-click on a clip or multiple clips, or right-click in the track settings area for a Vocal track.
- Choose Transcribe Lyrics. The Lyric Transcription dialog appears briefly.
- To show lyric transcription progress, click Show Progress. Otherwise, the lyric transciption completes in the background.
When lyric transcription completes, a dialog informs you that the lyrics are ready. To view the lyrics in the Lyrics Browser, click Open Lyrics Browser.
