Not Receiving a Verification Code at Checkout? Here's What to Do

If you're not receiving a text to verify your identity at checkout, that message is coming from Shop Pay, not the UAD Store.

Shop Pay is a secure, express checkout method from Shopify. If you've recently used Shop Pay at the UAD Store or any other Shopify-powered store, it'll automatically be set as your default payment method at checkout. As part of that process, Shopify sends a two-factor authentication (2FA) code by text to confirm your identity.

Common reasons you may not receive the text

  • The phone number on your Shop Pay account may be outdated or inactive
  • Your carrier or device might be blocking short-code messages
  • Shop Pay doesn't recognize the device or browser you're using.

How to resolve the issue

Update your phone number in Shop Pay

  1. Go to shop.app and sign in with your current email
  2. Update your phone number in your account settings
  3. Head back to the UAD Store and try checking out again
     

Checkout as a guest
to bypass Shop Pay

  1. On the Shop Pay verification screen, close the prompt or click "back"


     
  2. Enter your payment details directly on our site to complete your purchase
  3. If you're still being redirected to Shop Pay, look for the "Check out as guest" option at the bottom of the checkout screen
