Watch this short video to learn how to uninstall and reinstall the UA Connect software on Windows 11 in order to troubleshoot common issues.
Below are instructions on how to properly uninstall UA Connect from your Windows 11 system.
Note: Make sure to manually remove the UA Connect preference files described below before reinstalling UA Connect.
Uninstall UA Connect
- Press the [Windows] key and type Installed Apps, then press Enter.
- In Apps > Installed apps, find UA Connect in the list of applications.
- Click the ••• icon next to UA Connect.
- Click on the Uninstall option.
- Confirm by clicking Uninstall again
- Click OK.
Remove UA Connect Preference Files
Preference files for the UA Connect app are located in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local, which is hidden by default. To navigate directly to this folder, follow these steps:
- Press the [Windows] key.
- Type %localappdata%.

Hit [Enter].

Open the Universal Audio folder.

Delete the UA Connect folder found inside.
Reinstall UA Connect
Once the steps above are done, download and install the latest version of UA Connect found here.
