When troubleshooting an issue with a UA interface, it is good to rule out any possible software factors.
These tests help to validate if any issue is related to the hardware itself.

How to troubleshoot Volt Gen2 or Volt Max hardware
Reset Volt Gen 2 or Volt Max hardware to Factory Default
Volt Gen2 and Volt Max require a host connection to a computer to pass audio.
Use the following procedure to reset your Volt to default values:
1. Power off the Volt unit by unplugging the USB port(s).
2. Press and hold both TONE and 48V buttons and plug in the USB port(s) to power the
unit.
3. Wait for the backlit text above all buttons to flash four times, then release the buttons.
'Connect Host' will display on the Smart Display until a connection to a computer, iOS, or Android is detected.
If the Volt is connected to a computer, open UAD Console, and create a new UAD Console session
(File -> New) to test the inputs in a clean state. Any DAW or other audio software should be closed.
If on iOS or Android, you can skip that step.
