This article lists the steps to uninstall and reinstall LUNA on Windows computers.
Uninstalling LUNA via UA Connect
To uninstall LUNA, click the ••• options menu to the right of LUNA on the LUNA page in UA Connect, and choose Uninstall.
Deleting the LUNA components
Once that is done, proceed to the additional steps below to delete the remaining LUNA components if necessary.

To fully uninstall LUNA, it is important to reset your LUNA preferences in Windows by deleting these files and folders in particular:
- Preferences: C:\Users\[user_name]\AppData\Roaming\LUNAPrefs.json
- Workspace Cache: C:\Users\[user_name]\AppData\Local\Universal Audio\workspace
- VST3 Plug-in Cache: Optionally, delete the VST3 plug-in cache at C:\Users\[user_name]\AppData\Local\Universal Audio\Plug-Ins.vst3.json
Reinstalling LUNA
To reinstall LUNA after performing the aforementioned steps, launch UA Connect and navigate to the LUNA tab to begin the reinstallation.
